Residents of Gauteng can apply for housing subsidy provided by government through services such as Breaking New Ground (BNG) which was previously known as the Reconstruction and Development Programme (RDP).
The Housing Rental Tribunal resolves disputes between landlords and tenants in residential dwellings. It is an alternative to costly court action. The Tribunal has the powers to summon a landlord or tenant to a mediation or tribunal hearing.
The portal provides visitors access to housing statistics based on actual information derived from provincial housing databases. Registered users will gain access to live data relating their specific projects

Gauteng Department of Human Settlements under Assets Disposal and Regularisation Directorate (ADARDI) unit is mandated to distribute Title Deeds working together with municipalities. They also mediate and adjudicate family disputes over Title Deeds.
