The Gauteng Department of E-Government will be visiting the Soshanguve community this week to assist in downloading the e-Panic Button app. The activations will take place tomorrow, 12 August 2025 at Batho Plaza, Ward 55 Soshanguve, Wednesday, 13 August at Erasmus Taxi Changing Spot Rank, Soshanguve and on Thursday, 14 August at Giant Stadium, Soshanguve.
The e-Panic Button is a vital initiative of the Gauteng Provincial Government aimed at ensuring a quick response from law enforcement agencies and security companies during crime incidents.
It is a free service that allows Gauteng residents to report emergencies effectively and receive immediate assistance. Community members of Soshanguve are encouraged to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to download the app for free.
