Description

If you have lost or damaged your original matric certificate, or you wrote matric in more than one examination sitting and you want to combine your credits to qualify for a National Certificate you can apply at the Gauteng Department of Education

Who can apply?

Any one who want to change personal  particulars on matric certificate .Adult,Parents,Youth.

How to apply?

  •  You can apply at the Gauteng Department of Education  Head Office or your nearest Districts by completing the Re-issues Application Form.

  • You can apply online for the service:

  • A statement of results may be issued, as an interim record while waiting for the issue of your certificate.  

  • It takes four to six weeks to re-issue a certificate.

Where to apply?

Requirements: 

  • Original national/senior certificate and a certified copy

  • A  certified copy of your ID

  • A detailed  affidavit stating the reasons for the  alteration

  • A confirmation letter from the Department of Home Affairs

  • A Birth certificate

How much does it cost?

It will cost you R118.00 for the Replacement certificate, and if you want a statement of results, it will cost you an additional R47.00. These fees are valid from 01 April 2019 until 31 March 2020.
