Winterveld Enterprise Hub - Automotive

The Winterveld Enterprise Hub plays a pivotal role in up-skilling individuals and supporting the growth of local SMMEs. The purpose of the hub is to expose the local SMMEs to modern auto body repair equipment and methodology while formalising and developing their businesses by facilitating economic transformation within this area.

 Services/training on offer:

• Students are trained in spray painting techniques, metal prep techniques, polishing and paint finishing techniques, paint-mixing and colour matching, business acumen and quotation accuracy, among others.

• SMMEs directly affiliated to the Winterveld Enterprise Hub each receive tooling to the value of about R40,000 and will receive continued marketing support.

Mohlakeng Enterprise Hub

The Mohlakeng Enterprise Hub is located at the Mohlakeng Township in Rand West City Local Municipality at No.3521, Ralerata street. The hub is co-located with Gauteng Enterprise Propeller (GEP) West Rand's satellite office and EkasiLab. The hub assists in stimulating the local economy by creating an enabling environment for businesses by providing the much-needed technology in providing them with the equipment, suitable working space, technical skills development and business development support.

 Services/training on offer:​

• The hub provides incubation facility for light industrial manufacturing.

• It provides machinery and equipment to emerging Artisans, SMMEs and Cooperatives who are in the manufacturing and sub-sectors.

• It also provides shared services like boardrooms, meeting rooms and a computer station to the participating enterprises, EkasiLab and South African Breweries (SAB).
