​Write a letter/Query to the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Dvelopment [ EIAs  unit ] regarding a proposed development in Gauteng.

The Department then assesses the query in relation to the receiving environment and the current relevant legislation.

A response is issued by the Department indicating whether the proposed activity requires an Environmental Approval process to be followed.

A formal reponse is sent to the contact person and address given in the query
