Description
Waste recycling facilities/ companies, waste recycling/ management cooperatives and buy-back centres can request training recycling business.
The training is offered by the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (Pollution and Waste Management) to waste recycling facilities/ companies, waste recycling/ management cooperatives and buy-back centres that are found in Gauteng Province.
These facilities must be registered with DTI or with their municipality, they must be managed by South Africans and members must also be South Africans, they must be operating, they must have an area or piece of land where they are operating from or must have a lease agreement if leasing a piece of land or where they are operating from. They must have a secured place.
The Department offer the following accredited training: Project Management, Financial Management, Health and Safety; and First Aid. Businesses that require assistance must contact the office of the HOD or the Director of Pollution and Waste Management. After training, individuals will be awarded with certificates of competency.
