When doing a visit to a facility for assessment, we undertake to:
- Ensure that our officials have adequate knowledge of services rendered at your facility or premises, especially services applicable to the officials' scope of duty.
- Be objective and fair during our inspections and audits at the facility.
- Clearly communicate non-conformances to the facility owner/manager/representative.
- Execute our duties in a positive, friendly, helpful and professional manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of any information obtained during inspecting/auditing activities that is deemed confidential by the customer.
We expect our customers to:
- Treat us with respect and dignity
- Communicate your needs to us unambiguously
- Provide correct and full information to facilitate service delivery
- Make appointments for certification within a reasonable time and honour them
- Comply with all government and departmental policies and regulations relevant to your required service
- Give us feedback on our service delivery to help us improve
