Appeal an Environmental Decision
Description
This service allows an aggrieved party to contest an environmental decision of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Applicant to notify interested & affected parties (I&APs) of decision, Applicant to appeal decision if aggrieved, I&APs must ppeal to the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development
How to appeal a decision:
- Submit a notice of intention to appeal
- Submit an Appeal in writing:
In submitrting an appeal, the appelant needs to read the following regulations and guidelines for submitting an appeal:
- Appeal regulations National Environmental Management Act, 1998 (Act No. 107 of 1998) National Appeal Regulations
- Guideline to the apeal regulations(National- applies to all provinces) Guideline to the appeal regulations form
- This outlines (guides) the entire process as put forth in the regulations
