Apply for compulsory registration of captive breeding operation

Description

This service is aimed at individuals, clubs, businesses, nature reserves and municipalities who wants to apply for compulsory registration of captive breeding operation.

All persons or companies who import, export, trade in, keep, possess, collect, pick, convey, transport or hunt listed wild animals and wild plants in Gauteng must apply for permits with the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, (Directorate: Biodiversity Management/Nature Conservation).

To apply for compulsory registration of captive breeding operation, commercial exhibition, nurseries, scientific institutions, sanctuaries, rehabilitation facilities and wildlife traders in terms of the provisions of the National Environmental Management: Biodiversity Act 2004, Act 10 of 2004 - Threatened or Protected Species Regulations 2007 as amended.

How to apply:

Application fm completed and signed by the client. Name, physical address of applicant, telephone/cell phone number, email address, postal address, ID/Passport number. Correct standard application form. Proof of payment of application fee.

Additional information: SAVC number.  List of animals the Vet has experience with (cannot just state all TOPS app as this includes animals such as Velvet Cave Worms, and other invertebrates) Activities the Vet is planning on performing.
