Submit Basic Assessment and Environmental Impact Assessment reports in line with the National Environmental Management Act Regulations
The Environmental Assessment Practitioner must undertake all the required regulated and legislated processes applicable to the development proposed. These include, but are not limited to: Public Participation Process (PPP), submission of Draft Environmental Impact Assessment Report (Basic or Scoping/EIAR), submission of final Environmental Impact Assessment Reports with all applicable specialist studies.
Final reports must be submitted within 90 days (BAR) & 106 days (Scoping/EIAR) of submitting the application
Draft reports will be commented on in 30 days and the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development {EIAs} will make a decision within the regulated 107 days (or sooner) and notify the Applicant within 5 days of decision.
The EAP must notify the Interested and Affected parties of the decision within 14 days. The decision can be appealed within 20 days by the Applicant or Interested and Affected parties
