Puisano Live Music programme promotes live music performances in communities to help develop a culture of music appreciation as an art form in townships and build the local music industry.

Developing musicians are afforded the opportunity to share a more established platform to help enhance their performance standards and skills. Participating musicians are exposed to the local fan base and the programme will contribute to developing new audiences through the staging of live performances and the selection of aspiring local artists such as poets, comedians, musicians, crafters, visual and fine artists and so on.

The programme uses existing community facilities such as jazz taverns and were new talent is unearthed.​
