Gauteng Schools Cup: entry is open and free to all High/Secondary, Intermediate and Junior Secondary Schools in Gauteng. Such schools must be an academic institution registered with the Provincial Education Department. Participating schools complete the school registration as well as the player Registration forms. The tournament is played on three phases, cluster, district and provincial level. 16 teams of boys play at Provincial level (15 District winners per gender and 1 extra team from the Hosting District).
In the Gauteng Cup, teams compete for a chance to represent Gauteng and South Africa in the Future Champions International Tournament, using all three stages of the Future Champions Gauteng as a key part of their development training.
Gauteng International Tournament features top teams from across the globe allowing opportunity for cultural exchange with Gauteng teams.
Future Champions also includes an initiative called Future Players, a talent search which identifies and nurtures undiscovered raw talent throughout the phases of Future Champions programme.
