Asssited living is provided to people with disabilities whose physical, social and mental condition renders them in need of assistance and care in a non-institutional setting.
This service aims at providing housing and support services to persons with disabilities who do not require 24-hour care in order to maintain optimum level of independent living,
Who can access this service?
Persons with disabilities 18 years and older who can maintain some degree of independence and whose physical, social and mental condition renders them in need of assistance and care in a non-institutional setting and qualifying in terms of Dependency Questionnaire of 1998.

How to apply?
Persons in need of the service must apply directly to the Manager of the Facility or visit the Gauteng Department of Social Development office in their area.
