On the 30th of August 2023, National treasury instructed the National and Provincial Treasuries to implement cost containment measures to mitigate the fi scal challenges faced by the Government in the current fi nancial year. One of the key elements identifi ed to remediate the fi scal challenge is the postponement of capital projects not yet awarded.

Considering the above, Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport hereby gives notice to postpone the site briefi ng and closing dates of the following tenders already advertised until further notice. The new dates will be communicated on the same media platforms used to invite service providers.
