Roads and Transport Owners Department of Roads and Transport 2023/06/25 - 22:00

The Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport is pleased to announce that it has made special arrangements to accommodate bus operators in the region for lodging applications related to outstanding operating licenses.

Bus operators are invited to visit their nearest Transport Operating Licensing Administrative Boards (TOLABS) located across Gauteng. These offices will be operating for extended hours solely dedicated to processing applications for all contracted bus operators.

Dedicated officials will be present at the offices to receive and process applications promptly. Upon submission, applicants will receive a receipt, which must be submitted along with payment certificates to facilitate the payment processing by the department. All applications received will then undergo adjudication by PRE as required by law.

To address payment backlogs, the Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport has coordinated with Provincial Treasury to arrange special runs for including operators' claims. These runs will take place daily from 26 June 2023 until Thursday, 29 June 2023.
