Nurses at Helen Joseph Hospital will each receive two scrubs each to enable them to be comfortable following a donation from a generous sponsor.
The sponsor, Carlo Gibson of Klipa Denim created Back-a-Buddy campaign which is raising funds with a target of reaching R200 000 so each nurse receives two scrubs.  Currently, 222 scrubs have been delivered.  As funds are available, more will be delivered.​
Acting Hospital CEO, Dr Ronnie Masilela said: "These are trying times and we are very grateful for donations such as these as they keep our frontline workers motivated."
