Randfontein- On Monday 16 September at around 11:30 am fire started at a construction site of Mohlakeng Community Health Centre. The source of the fire is reported to be an explosion from one of the compressors used on site. 
Firefighters were able to put down the fire, the top level of the building is badly burned, no one was reportedly injured during the incidence. Full investigation will be conducted regarding the matter.
This clinic is one of the CHC's that are being built in West Rand District by Gauteng Government to bring 24 Hours Health Care closer to the community.
