Vehicle licence - Use of bank card now possible at Post Office

The SA Post Office has announced that is now able to accept debit and credit card as payment method for renewal of motor vehicle licences at all its branches offering the service.

There are approximately three hundred Post Office outlets in Gauteng, providing a convenient service, at close proximity, to clients. The service assist clients process their motor vehicle renewals, at shopping centres/malls and drive-through service centres serving as convenient locations for motorists and providing the option of a "one-stop-shop" experience.

Renewal of motor vehicle licences is the most popular transaction at many Post Office branches – clear evidence of the success of this service.

Meanwhile, motorists who have received a traffic fine issued in terms of the AARTO Act may pay the traffic fine at any Post Office countrywide.
