Molobela who was born in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga but is currently based in Kibler Park, south of Johannesburg, saidhe decided to be a nurse so he could help the sick in his community.

"I take pride in my profession because I know I'm helping the sick who really need usduring this difficult time," said Molobela

Molobela trained at the well renowned, Chris Hani Baragwanath Nursing College. He is currently a Critical Nurse Specialist working at Milpark Hospital's Neuro Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

He said COVID-19 is taking an unprecedented toll on communities around the country.

"This should encourage us as young people to find innovative solutions to assist those around us without putting ourselves in danger whilst observing the lockdown regulations," he said.

"Since the beginning of the lockdown, I've learned that working together as a team is of outmost importance and we should take care of each other as healthcare workers and as a community at large.

"I also have a responsibility as an individual, to take care of myself so that I don't infect others around me," he added.

He further urged people to follow the lockdown rules by maintaining physical distancing and washing hands thoroughly with soap and water or sanitize using an alcohol based sanitizer.
