This year Child Protection Week starts on sunday, 30 May 2021 and ends on Sunday, 06 June 2021. 
During this period, the Department of Health, Clinical Forensic Medical Services will be conducting awareness and educational campaigns on issues relating to children's rights and safety in partnership with other Government Departments and civic organisations  that are mandated to protect children's rights.
 Clinical Forensic Medical Services have two centres in Sedibeng district namely Kopanong and Heidelberg, between April 2020 and February 2021 602 children were seen in this two centres as victim of sexual office cases.
