The Gauteng Department of Social Development (GDSD) is 
calling for interested and qualifying Non-Profit 
Organizations to respond to this Request/Call for Proposals 
for 2026/2027 financial year. 
To be considered for funding, 
the NPO must be registered as a social services NPO under 
the NPO Act. Interested NPO’s must be operating in 
one or more corridors within Gauteng province. 
Funding is dependent on meeting ALL the request for 
proposal requirements, departmental objectives, availability 
of funds, NPO compliance, proposed project impacts and 
capacity of the NPO to implement the proposed 
project/programme. 

The funding will be made available to strengthen service 
delivery provided by these organizations for promotion of 
welfare and development in line with the mandate and 
relevant DSD policies, guidelines and legislative frameworks.
HOW TO APPLY
