​The Gauteng Department of Social Development (GDSD) in its resolve to re-organize the State –Civil Society model for delivery of its services and through the GDSD Institutional Review Project (IRP), its funding of NPOs for the 2023/2024 financial year will be informed by the conditions below. This funding will mainly be informed by needs an priority area that the Department, with its current capacity, cannot cover them efficiently at all
The following documents are required from applicants who wish to be considered for funding:
• Funding applications/Business Plan (template available on the Department's website and designated reception areas at Regional Offices or can be requested from Nono.Yende@gauteng.gov.za
• Certified copy of the certificate of registration (NPO Act or any other relevant Act) and a compliance letter;
• Signed, stamped copy of the NPOs constitution and list of approved board members as per the National DSD NPO database;
• All fully completed proposals must be physically submitted on any of the offices reflected below especially those that are of close proximity to applicants/NPOs
•Proposals received after the closing date as well as proposals received via fax/email will not be considered/accepted;
The deadline for submission of funding applications is: 1st October 2022 at 15h00
